wait for it... well don't hold your breath because the wow factor was not there this year. Every year people world wide wait for the Oscars to set the bar, when it comes to the red carpet. The red carpet lost its sparkle last night as Oscar winners strolled down it in SIMPLY stunning dresses. This year I was shocked to see what was considered an Oscar dress for some. I found that many looked same old same old with the occasional pop of one. I definitely was expecting more, thankfully the award winners took the excitements spot light so there wasn't a huge blow out but I wished for more. One thing I did love to see is how many female celebrities chose to rock the tuxedo or jumpsuit look. I believe Lady GaGa rocked the stage though with her jumpsuit. Bravo Lady GaGa you have finally developed into she fashion icon we would have never expected.

“The message we can convey together is that this country is dusting off its past,”“It’s rock ’n’ roll Renaissance, 1980s Renaissance, street-style Renaissance, bourgeois Renaissance, chinoiserie Renaissance,”Did you miss Max Mara? Not to worry because I can fill you in. This show was nothing expected, like usual, meshing together the monochromatic new look with a pop of bold: starting with textures, sequins, and ending with color. I am usually one for the neutrals but something about this show just kept me pealed for the next look. The unexpected is in! I wonder whats up next? Your keeping me interested Max Mara.
As I have grown up I have always had the end goal in mind with fashion. One day I will become a Creative Director! With this in mind I have pushed my self to all limits in the fashion world, but is that enough? Passion is one thing but living is another. Can you really make it all work? Now that I am older and the real world is getting closer I do come across points were I have to ask myself can I make this work. Every year Fashionista writes an annual article on the salaries in the fashion world. They cover design, editorial, creative, retail/ sales/ e-commerce, publicity, marketing/ advertising, and social media. This being said I wanted to share them with you so that you yourself would be able to answer the million dollar question in your head, Can your dreams become a reality.

Natalie Rye:A student at the University of Alabama developing into an accomplished apparel designer. What the world has to offer my soul I will absorb. I am a creator; nothing compares to the beautiful conversation of the mind. I enjoy collecting memories of my moments and paying attention to everything life brings my way. And through it all, I am a reflection of my life's journey, inspirations along the way, inspired creations, rambling thoughts - past, present, and future. Whatever comes to mind, I want to express the depths of my thoughts through design. Archives
