I have always lived in the bible belt so I can't say its every been to bad. I definitely only use my heavy coat maybe five times a year and if we get "snow" it's usually just a combination of slush and mud, but walking to class today in-between two buildings where I was getting a heavy draft of wind and no sun light I couldn't help but think of my dads new location were his job has taken him, Ohio. I have yet to visit but thinking about it sounds painful to me. I work with a Graduate student in the clothing and textiles department at the University and she always is telling me get ready for the winter in Ohio, there is nothing else like it. hearing these words come from her mouth make me want to cry. I cry about a lot so thats really not saying much but really it sounds painful. I will be shaking in my britches wearing my shoulders as earnings here soon and I don't even know how to prepare myself for this situation.
Winter for many can be many different experiences. when living at the beach I'm sure they just go from wearing short shorts to jeans and a sleeveless blouse. Sun of a beach why and the would did the oil and gas industry have to take us to Ohio. This city slicker is all about the accessorizing so maybe this is just other opportunity for a shopping trip. Why not right? Im going to need so much... gloves, hat, scarf, ear muffs (I will probably be braking fashion code by wearing both ear muffs and a hat but I think its well worth it), coats, fur, boots, and how could I forget COFFE (and maybe something in it to num the chill a bit)
well here goes to new places and things what more would I want in life really though!
